About Us

Adam and Jamie are high-school sweethearts who became early-rising, coffee-fueled entrepreneurs. They’re volunteers, teachers at heart, lifelong learners, partners in life and work, dog people, and, of course, parents. Their Christian faith centers everything they do as they navigate the balance of calling, career, and family.

Who We Are

Adam is the dreamer – always building, planning, or sketching the next big idea. There’s always a project…or three.
Jamie is the anchor – steady, creative, and the quiet force that keeps their family grounded and growing. She’s the reason they own a home.

Our Story

Adam and Jamie met in 2002 as seniors in high school. After graduating, they headed off to a small private university, and eventually landed in Dallas to pursue graduate degrees and begin their teaching careers.

Adam earned an M.A. in History, an MBA, and later completed The Wharton School’s Advanced Finance Program before moving into tech, finance, and corporate development.

Jamie earned her M.A. in Curriculum Design and spent 13 years teaching third grade, earning Teacher of the Year in 2020. After moving north, she founded Collaborative Minds Academy, a two-day hybrid homeschool drop-off program that enhances the traditional homeschool experience with high-quality, rigorous collaborative education.

Today, they’re raising three kids – one preparing for college, one starting high school, and one stepping into middle school. They travel whenever and wherever they can, usually with their Boston Terriers, Gordon and Tilly. (And yes, Adam still plans to interview Gordon Ramsay someday. It’s sort of a running joke…but also not a joke.)
