HI! I’m Tricia
& this is my amazing husband
& cutest kids ever!
I am a thirty something wife for over eight years and mother to two amazing children (a boy who is 5 and a girl who is 2). My husband and I are both professionals who work full time and are very dedicated to our family. My goal is to be the best wife, mom and professional I can be. Balancing it all is tough and I have not yet (and may never) mastered the process.
One thing I have learned from other moms I work with is that we can help each other by sharing our tips and tricks to streamline our lives to allow for more of our precious time to be spent enjoying our family.
This blog is to do just that.
The time I have spent on Pinterest has directed me to blogs of stay-at-home or work-from-home moms. I respect and appreciate these women and clearly want to be able to more like them if I am researching them on Pinterest. Unfortunately, I work full time and have time restrictions that make some of those things not feasible. I also look at working mom websites to try to gleam some ideas of how other women are doing it and I am always dismayed to learn that their significant others stay home with their children. No wonder they can do some of these things. If my husband were available to clean, cook, do the laundry and shuttle our children around I could be more relaxed after work also. Eventually I would love for both of us to work less, but right now it is not in the cards for us. I am hoping to provide a perspective of two full time working parents.
I am an introverted perfectionist who does not like to share my weaknesses (not that I have any ;)). I LOVE to craft, read, knit and make playing educational with my children.
The community we live in is a small community in a rural area of Colorado. This environment brings challenges (poor internet service, expensive utilities, dirt roads to mention a few) as well as the benefits of a community who looks out for each other and helps out when possible. As a family we love to hike, ski, fish, build things and spend time with family.
My walk with God, as well as taking care of myself, as taken a back seat in my life for the past 3 years and I am working to prioritize these back to the top again. I am going to need God’s help to be the best I can be.
In the meantime, if we have food on the table and clean clothes to wear, I am going to be happy!
Thanks for visiting!
